Neil Smith is the International Director of Planetshakers and CEO of Empower Australia.
Over the last decade, Neil has worked on community development projects, focusing on building government relationships and corporate partnerships.
Neil's work as the CEO of Empower Australia expanded the charity's food relief efforts in the pandemic of 2020, going from one site to five sites and giving out over 1 million meals that year.
His ability to bring a diverse range of stakeholders to the table and facilitate synergistic partnerships has also been particularly impactful in Papua New Guinea, where he has spearheaded the Believe Campaign. As part of this movement, Neil has met with government leaders and heads of state to discuss ways in which the church at large can partner with governments and local bodies to bring sustainable development and positive impact to a nation's leadership, business, education, health and the church spheres.
Neil has a vision for cultural transformation across communities, cities and nations.
